Jonathan said to the attendant who carried his weapons, “Come on, let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will help us. NOTHING CAN KEEP THE LORD FROM SAVING, WHETHER BY MANY OR BY FEW.” 1 Samuel 14

The words of Jonathan at a time of war in Israel. His father Saul had walked away from God, but Jonathan still believed that the God of Israel was able to defeat their enemies. Jonathan and his armour bearer set forth to confront the Philistines and their lead proved to be a turning point in the whole battle. There are many who have walked away from the Lord today, but look for turnaround as the Church begins to stand up and fight against the wicked and corrupt of this world. There will be victory ahead and people will begin to turn back to God when they His Hand moving to deliver multitudes of people.

It only took Jonathan and his armour bearer to put the Fear of God into the enemy army. It only took Gideon and three hundred faithful warriors to chase the hoards of Midian right out of Israel’s territory. God used a shepherd boy, David, with his sling and five stones to cut off the head of Goliath and chase the enemy out of the land.

“NOTHING CAN KEEP THE LORD FROM SAVING, WHETHER BY MANY OR BY FEW.” 1 Samuel 14

There may be disturbing times ahead, but God is on the move and the enemy is in retreat. Despite the worst assaults of the wicked, God has begun to root out wickedness and raise up righteousness. We must stand with those who are fighting on the side of good and right in these days.

May the Lord bless and keep you today. Immanuel, God is with us.
