God’s Favour WILL BRING INCREASE in His Time.

God’s Favour WILL BRING INCREASE in His Time.

21 ‘And I WILL MAKE the Egyptians FAVOURABLY disposed towards this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. 22 Every woman is to ask her neighbour and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians.’ Exodus 3

NB THE WOMEN WERE TO BE HELP TAKE THE PLUNDER!

Tell the people that men and women alike ARE TO ASK their neighbours for articles of silver and gold.’ Exodus 11

36 The Lord HAD MADE the Egyptians favourably disposed towards the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians. Exodus 12

These verses show three different tenses, ‘I will make, the people are to ask, God had made the Egyptians’. Hudson Taylor, founder of the China Inland Mission used to say when seeking God for something, ‘First it was impossible, then it was difficult, then it was done!’ God told Moses to plunder the Egyptians (World system). His people had been enslaved there for generations and it was payback time. Many times we have heard of a great ‘Wealth Transfer’ today, to and for the people of God. May it come soon, before Christ returns.

God’s Favour cannot be at the expense of His Justice.

‘DO NOT FOLLOW THE CROWD IN DOING WRONG. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favouritism to a poor person in a lawsuit. Exodus 23

‘Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.

We are living in a day when God is exposing corruption in the Church and governmental organisations as never before and there’s more to come. The Scales of Justice however, should never be tipped according to status, but only by the Truth in any situation.

Having seen this in Exodus, we come to GOD’S MERCY, which is very great towards those He loves.

11 But Moses sought the favour of the Lord his God. ‘Lord,’ he said, ‘why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand? Exodus 32

Israel had sinned greatly with the golden calf idol and God was on the verge of destroying them, but Moses SOUGHT THE FAVOUR OF THE LORD ON THEIR BEHALF.

12 Moses said to the Lord, ‘You have been telling me, “Lead these people,” … 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me YOUR WAYS so I may know you and continue to find favour with you. (A GOOD PRAYER, Knowing God’s Ways are more than just obeying His Commands) Remember that this nation is your people.’

Remember that this nation is your people. Exodus 33

Moses, a man under God’s Favour prevailed with God and Israel received Mercy not judgement.

The end of a beautiful passage in Job highlights this Truth;

29 When people are brought low and you say, “Lift them up!”
then he will save the downcast.
30 He will deliver even one who is not innocent,
who will be delivered through THE CLEANNESS OF YOUR HANDS.’ Job 22
